Day trip to Amsterdam
Reach the metropolis of Amsterdam comfortably by train from Den Helder and save yourself the stress of searching for a parking space in your own car. Amsterdam is full of historical and cultural sights; stroll along the canals and experience the hustle and bustle of this fascinating city.

From the port of Den Helder, you can visit the Wadden Sea's most popular animals. By boat, you can reach the sandbanks where the animals lie together in large groups and sunbathe.

Beach walks
Discover miles of pristine sandy beaches. In Julianadorp, you'll find beaches that are still relatively untouched by tourists. Dogs are also welcome, but please note the different rules during peak and off-peak seasons to ensure everyone can enjoy a carefree beach holiday. Afterwards, stop off at one of the beach bars/restaurants.

Ferry ride to Texel
Let Texel enchant you! The island is a true magnet for nature lovers and explorers. With its diverse landscapes, from dunes to forests to beaches, Texel offers many opportunities for activities. Explore Texel on a day trip. The ferry (20-minute ride) is a 15-minute drive from our resort.

Visit the Marine Museum in nearby Den Helder, where historic ships are moored and a submarine can be viewed on land.
Fort Kijkdiun , the 19th-century fortress built on Napoleon's orders, is now a museum and marine aquarium.
